Pictures Worth A 1,000 Words!

My collection of images that inspire me
This image inspires me because… Mother’s Day is fast approaching this weekend and in case anyone forgot (which i’m sure no one has) all of the top floral companies are bombarding us with advertisements! this ad from 1800Flowers on their home page of their website is very appealing! It happens to show a beautiful bouquet of flowers and even links to a guide for shopping for your mother!

This image inspires me because…the comic skit is not only funny but ironically true. It makes me wonder just how many shirts in my closet I have that depict a logo, slogan, or product!

This image inspires me because… what an awesome and creative way for Lego to advertise its product. The image shows three women with three prominent hair colors and styles however their hair is seemingly made from legos! Its just as fascinating as the lego displays in their stores.

This image inspires me because…this T-Mobile commercial is taking on a whole new feel! The ever popular and well-known T-Mobile model in her pink dress is shown transforming her clothing and hopping on a motorcycle. I wonder what is in store for future T-Mobile ads and will they steer in this new direction!

This image inspires me because… it is a new take on the old form of billboard advertising! Still a very effective form of advertising, billboards especially in urban areas and near high traffic roadways are great opportunities for companies to market their products and services. But this billboard is unique because it is a floating one! Essentially you can choose the height and even the location of this billboard to suite your needs. But my question is how stable is it in bad weather?

This image inspires me because…in honor of Easter I decided to pay extra close attention to all the holiday related ads. Since Reese’s is one of my favorite candies I am taking some time to take about why this one catches my eye. Beyond the ever popular Cadbury candies around Easter, Reese’s has peanut butter filled eggs! This witty phrase makes you think twice about picking up the same old empty chocolate bunnies for the kids. Reese’s does a good job of featuring their product using the signature orange and yellow while mentioning why the Reese eggs are better than the competitors.

This image inspires me because… what would it be like if social networks were around during the 50s? Old school ads for Facebook, Twitter, Skype, and Youtube would have looked something like this! But the real question is would there even be print ads for these companies? Wouldn’t social networks advertise online as they do now? Maybe not simply because in the 50s print ads were more effective!

This image inspires me because… when I first looked at the picture I immediately was drawn to every corner of the picture. I realized quickly it was a collage of logos. Not only is this image a great of example of brand imaging and how logos can be an effective symbol for a company. This image can also be turned into a game of “guess that brand”

This image inspires me because…  it is an interesting moving ad on a truck. I enjoy how the bottle looks to be 3D by the way it is positioned. Definitely eye-catching! Bionade, the product is a “unique non-alcoholic refreshment drink.Produced from natural raw materials of organic quality through fermentation in a purely organic way.” (bionade.com)

This image inspires me because…it portrays a new ad campaign from IKEA. The company is taking their fabric patterns and covering objects on the street such as garbage cans with the statement “A little fabric makes a big difference”. Not only does it bring attention to the garbage can but I think its a unique and eye-catching way to make people aware of the company.
